Weil
The three Weil brothers, Jacques, Alfred and Marcel, were furriers.
In 1927, they decided to invent fragrances, both because the perfumes in vogue during the Roaring Twenties were damaging their sumptuous furs, and to "cover" the often stubborn smell of the skins.
Marcel created his first fragrance with the help of perfumer Claude Fraysse. It was a great success. It has endured ever since'.
